WWII German Bayonet

This example has the numbers 2 789 on the huard

And the number 256 on the ricasso

The bayonet is 38 cm in total length

with a 24.8 cm blade

The metal scabbard has been repainted at some sate 

There are some scratches in the timber handle, the blade has not been resharpened

 The external release button is in working condition.
