A classic example of the Japanese Type 30 bayonet, produced for military use from the late 19th century through to the end of the Second World War.
This piece was manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal, one of the primary production facilities supplying bayonets for Japanese forces during this period.
The Type 30 is known for its distinctive hooked quillon and long, narrow blade — a design that remained largely unchanged across decades of service.
