Description:
A delicate porcelain bud vase by Royal Copenhagen, hand-painted in 1961 and finished with their signature airbrush glazing – a technique pioneered by the company at the turn of the 20th century. This enchanting design depicts a butterfly with its chrysalis, beautifully rendered in soft, natural tones.
Each vase is individually hand-painted, making every piece unique. This example is marked as a factory first, fully stamped with model and pattern number 2654/396, and carries the initials of the artist TC on the base.
