Vintage Johnnie Walker Red Label Ceramic Whisky Water Jug – Made in Italy

A fabulous piece of vintage whisky advertising memorabilia!

This vintage Johnnie Walker Red Label ceramic water jug features the famous red and gold whisky label, along with the instantly recognisable Johnnie Walker Striding Man.

The classic advertising design includes the words “Born 1820 – Still Going Strong”, a slogan associated with the famous Scottish whisky brand.

Made in Italy by Ceramiche Piola, this unusual rectangular jug features a white glazed ceramic body, pouring spout and angular handle, with decorative Johnnie Walker branding on the front and a smaller Striding Man illustration on the side.

Originally designed for serving water alongside whisky, these promotional jugs were a familiar sight in bars, hotels and home drinks cabinets.

A wonderful addition to a vintage bar, drinks trolley or collection of advertising memorabilia.

Condition

Good vintage condition with some age-related wear, including light surface marks and minor wear to the printed gold and red decoration.

The interior appears clean and the original advertising design remains bright and clearly visible.
