Vintage CASE XX Honing Oil Tin with Original Applicator

A fantastic little piece of mid-century workshop and cutlery history — this original CASE XX Honing Oil tin still retaining its bakelite-style applicator top and bold graphic design.

Produced by the famous W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company of Bradford, Pennsylvania, this oil was designed for use with sharpening stones and knife maintenance. The reverse still carries the original sharpening instructions, including blade angles and honing advice.

The typography and clean industrial styling make this a wonderful display piece today, especially for:
