Description
A beautiful example of Burleigh’s iconic Blue Calico pattern, this vintage teapot and creamer set is a timeless classic of English pottery.
Introduced in 1968, the Blue Calico design quickly became one of Burleigh’s most recognisable and enduring patterns. Inspired by Edwardian chintz fabrics, the rich cobalt blue floral motif was created to evoke Prunus blossoms on ice, symbolising the first blooms of spring. Each piece was handcrafted in Stoke-on-Trent, England, using traditional transfer ware techniques passed down for generations.
