A rare and beautiful survivor from the opening years of Australia’s most iconic landmark, this pressed-glass souvenir dish was made to celebrate the 1932 opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
With its moulded arch handle, scalloped edges, and crisp depiction of the Bridge and harbour foreshore, it’s a wonderfully nostalgic piece of Australiana — a little bit of history you can hold in your hand.
The glass shows the usual age-related character expected of early pressed pieces, but remains beautifully clear with excellent detail. A collector’s gem.

✨ Deb’s Note
There’s something lovely about these early souvenir pieces — they feel like a postcard in glass. This one is unusually crisp, and it’s a gorgeous way to add a touch of real Australian history to a shelf, dresser, or display.
