A beautifully balanced post-war English table setting by Ridgway, Staffordshire.
Dating to approximately 1948–1953, this elegant earthenware set features a soft ivory glaze with rose-terracotta garland borders and delicate gilt edging. The gentle age crazing is even and consistent with mid-century English production, adding warmth and character rather than detracting from its charm.
Originally including a terrine, the base has been thoughtfully styled as a salad bowl — perfect for pears, greens or serving at a slow Sunday lunch.
This is a complete setting for four, with additional serving pieces.

Why We Love It
This is romantic, post-war English tableware — made for candlelight, conversation and unhurried meals. The warm ivory tone and rose border sit beautifully within the Kitten Vintage Golden Glow palette.
A complete coordinated setting of this era is increasingly difficult to find.
