Description
This sculptural mid-century art glass piece takes the form of a cornucopia-style vessel, hand-formed in richly coloured amber glass with clear applied details.
The body flows upward into a softly flared rim, with an elegant curved handle and a clear glass foot, giving it a striking, almost horn-like silhouette. The glass shows beautiful internal movement and colour variation, typical of hand-worked art glass from the mid-20th century.
While pieces of this form are often attributed to Murano makers, this example is unlabelled, so it is offered as mid-century art glass in the Murano style, rather than a guaranteed attribution.
Versatile in use, it works beautifully as:
• a small sculptural vase
• a decorative jug
• a display object on its own
A statement piece with real presence — perfect for a shelf, sideboard, or styled vignette.
