A gorgeous piece of Australian mid-century pottery by MCP Sydney, finished in a vivid aqua-blue drip glaze with beautiful organic movement through the surface.

This long, low trough shape is wonderfully sculptural and versatile — perfect for:

• Ikebana or floral arranging

• Succulents or small plants

• A dining table centrepiece

• Bathroom or shelf styling

The glaze is especially striking, with layered turquoise, teal and watery blue tones pooling and flowing over the textured surface. It has that classic Australian studio pottery feel of the late 1960s and 70s — earthy but bold at the same time.

Marked to base:

MCP Sydney

Approximate dimensions:

• 20cm long

• 7cm high

Condition:

Good vintage condition with minor age-related wear and small manufacturing variations consistent with vintage Australian pottery. No major chips or cracks noted.

A fantastic retro Australian ceramic piece with beautiful colour and texture.
