A striking large-scale Australian pottery bowl in soft eucalyptus green, cream and warm caramel glazes.
This beautiful scalloped form has a distinctly mid-century feel, with deep petal-like shaping around the rim and softly blended earthy Australian tones. The glaze shifts beautifully in the light — pale sage greens fading into honeyed caramel and warm stone colours.
Likely Australian in origin and very much in the spirit of Diana Pottery and other Australian ceramic makers of the 1950s and 60s, this piece works beautifully as:
• A console or coffee table centrepiece
• A planter bowl
• A fruit bowl
• Or simply as sculptural shelf decor
The petal form gives it a wonderful organic floral look from above.
Approximate dimensions:
• 28cm diameter
• 10cm high
Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-related crazing to the base and minor manufacturing variations consistent with vintage pottery. No major chips or cracks noted.
A beautiful statement piece for mid-century, retro or earthy Australian interiors.
