Hungry Designs Tall Ship in a Bottle Brooch – Amanda Whitelaw – Queensland Made

A striking older Hungry Designs “Ship in a Bottle” brooch by Queensland artist and illustrator Amanda Whitelaw.

The design features a black-and-white tall sailing ship enclosed within a clear acrylic bottle shape, complete with multiple sails and a tiny skull-and-crossbones flag. It’s a clever nautical design with a slightly whimsical, pirate-inspired feel.

Hungry Designs was created by Amanda Whitelaw, known for her bold illustrated wearable art and quirky brooch designs. Her work has been part of Queensland’s independent handmade design scene since at least the early 2010s. 

This example comes with its original Hungry Designs backing card. No box.

Condition

Very good pre-owned condition with light signs of previous wear and storage. Original backing card included. Please refer to photographs for condition.
