This elegant Edwardian coffee pot dates to around 1900 and was made in Sheffield, England, the historic centre of British silver production.
Crafted in EPBM (Electro-Plated Britannia Metal) with a high-quality A1 silver plate, the pot features a tall, architectural form with restrained scroll engraving to the body. The cast handle, slender spout and original fitted lid with finial give it a refined, formal presence typical of the late Victorian–Edwardian period.
Originally part of a coffee service, pieces like this were brought out for after-dinner coffee — both functional and ceremonial.
It remains a striking decorative piece for a sideboard, coffee station or kitchen display.
