Edwardian Pressed Glass Fruit Bowl on Four Feet (c.1910–1920)
A beautiful early 20th-century pressed glass fruit bowl, likely English and most consistent with Davidson production from the Edwardian to early Art Deco transition period.
This piece features a strong geometric panel band interspersed with stylised floral motifs, a softly scalloped rim, and four elegant scroll feet. The combination of floral detailing and structured patterning places it around 1910–1920 — a moment when design was shifting from romantic Edwardian ornament toward the clean lines of Art Deco.
At just over a century old, this bowl would have originally sat at the centre of a dining table holding apples, pears or sugared fruit. Today it makes a striking centrepiece for seasonal fruit, potpourri, or simply as a sculptural glass display.
