A beautifully matched pair of English stoneware pieces from the renowned Doulton Lambeth works in London, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century.
Finished in rich, earthy glazes, each piece features a raised floral band in deep greens and soft blues, set against a warm ribbed base — a lovely example of the transition between decorative Victorian pottery and more practical domestic ware.
Solid in the hand and full of character, these were made to be used and enjoyed — just as they can be today.
A timeless addition to a layered kitchen, or a beautiful pairing for open shelving.
