A sweet and delicate set of six early 20th-century C.W.S. Longton floral side plates, made in Staffordshire, England around 1913–1920. Each plate features a softly scalloped edge, raised scroll-embossed rim, and a garland of tiny pink and blue flowers with green leaves — the picture of Edwardian afternoon tea.

Produced by the Co-operative Wholesale Society’s Longton Pottery, these pieces reflect the craftsmanship and social values of the early Co-op movement — quality domestic wares made to be both beautiful and accessible to everyday families. The subtle embossed detailing catches the light, while the floral border brings a whisper of cottage garden charm to the table.

Condition: Excellent for age — no chips or cracks, light natural crazing consistent with over a century of gentle use.

🌼 Set includes: 6 side plates (approx. 17 cm D each).

💭 Deb’s Note:

There’s something so comforting about Co-op china — it feels like home and hospitality rolled into one. These little floral plates remind me of tea with my grandmother: lace cloth, sponge cake, and that quiet, timeless grace of English ceramics that were made to last.
