Description:
A striking hand-decorated ceramic vase featuring twin scrolled handles and classical amphora-inspired form. The vase is finished in a soft ivory ground with hand-painted iris flowers in rich tones of purple, red, and yellow on the front, and a single iris stem on the reverse.
The top and base are decorated in a matte charcoal glaze with raised Art Nouveau scroll and leaf motifs, adding depth and elegance. The shape and decoration reflect the popular Secessionist / Art Nouveau influences of the early 1900s.
