This striking wooden vase dates to the 1930s and is decorated in the traditional pokerwork (pyrography) style. Featuring a bold sunflower/daisy motif, the design has been wood-burned and stained in rich shades of brown and red.


Pokerwork was a popular decorative craft in the interwar period, often made as one-off pieces, giving each example its own unique charm.
